The Department of Agricultural Markets, Marketing and World Agricultural Trade of the Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) is looking for a committed student assistant.

The Candidate will contribute to several projects concerning the strengthening of the climate resilience of local agricultural production in Central Asia.

The student assistant will contribute to the data management, project management as well as support in organization of events in Germany, Caucasus and Central Asia.

Candidate profile

 Master or bachelor degree in agricultural economics/ economics/ International Area Studies or related fields

 Experience in data management (Excel, STATA, SPSS etc.)

 High proficiency in oral and written German is highly desired

 High proficiency in oral and written English, Russian language skills of advantage;

 High personal commitment to research;

 Interest in agricultural and/or insurance sector.
