Collector - German Market

<p>To reduce and control the amount of overdue invoices in the portfolio of accounts assigned and to establish and maintain a professional relationship with internal &amp; external customers.</p>

Key-result areas

<ul> <li> Work portfolio of assigned accounts by contacting customers to ensure monies due are collected in a timely manner.</li> <li> Maintain awareness of&nbsp; overdue invoices (120+ receivables, customer contacts) so as to meet/exceed these targets in order to ensure maximum bonus allocation.</li> <li> Register and forward any queries raised by customers to the appropriate department (Customer Service, Banking, Cash Allocation, &hellip;.) or to in-country contacts (Sales, Sales Support, &hellip;)</li> <li> Recommend suspensions, re-activations and referrals so as to ensure bad debt exposure is kept to a minimum.</li> <li> Handle correspondence from customers in assigned portfolio in order to ensure optimum level of customer service is maintained.</li> <li> Escalate issues as and when they arise to ensure effective management of accounts.</li> <li> To undertake Ad-hoc projects as requested by Team Leader / Management.</li> <li> Be fully conversant with our Mission Vision &amp; Values and seek to fulfil them in your day to day activities.</li> </ul>

Mandatory Requirements

<p><strong>Professional Experience</strong></p> <p>Collections experience an advantage.</p> <p><strong>Knowledge</strong></p> <ul> <li> Fluency in German language&ndash; Written &amp; Spoken</li> <li> Intermediate level in Word and Excel is required Lotus Notes is a plus</li> <li> Knowledge of our systems e.g. GAR desirable but not essential</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li> Good level of communication (Capacity to deal with Management levels and Customers Management)</li> <li> Good level of analytical skills (be able to create clear and effective reports)</li> </ul> <p><strong>Competencies</strong></p> <p><em><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Primary</span></em></p> <ul> <li> Relationship Management &amp; Team Working</li> <li> Effective Communication</li> <li> Business &amp; Customer Orientation</li> <li> Analysis &amp; Decision Making</li> <li> Organisation &amp; Resource Management&nbsp;</li> </ul>
